Electronics will make this world more sophisticated in near future. 

Electronics is the heart of any hardware. It is widely used in most of the engineering applications. Today very fast we shift towards digital electronics, so when we say electronics engineer “it means electronics + electrical + computer engineering”

My simple conclusion is that electronics has great future but along with that make yourself much competitive by learning electrical fundamental and programming part of the system.

Electronics is always Electronics. Without Electronics nothing will move in this world. Electronics control the electrons in an effective way. So demand for Electronics will grow in future. Every equipment will have more and more electronics inside like Car, Bus, TV, etc..

The main problem is not with Future of Electronics. The Electronics birth year was 1906. Within 114 years this filed did an excellent thing to the society. The invention of Transistor and IC have made lots of unexpected things to the world.

The main problem is our understanding about electronics. Like journey which started by walking and finally today Rocket. We use different mode of travel based on the requirement and availability. But journey is always journey.

Most of the people associate electronics to hardware components like Transistor, Resistor, etc. It was true 42 years back. Today Electronics is full of Software. 42 years back Electronics had only one branch called H/W. Today Electronics has 3 fields like Hardware/Software/VLSI (Also software).

The fact is that today 

Electronics is 90% Software and 10% Hardware. So accept the change. If you still think electronics means only soldering and Circuit design and ICs then the future is very gloomy. But if you ready to accept the change and start mastering programming then the future of Electronics is Very Bright
